Blue Surface is a series of paintings where I strive for the impression that arises in the encounter with the sea. I take the bike through the pine forest near the sea on the Uppland coast where I live, the view of the sea and the horizon suddenly opens up. I am still in the shadows, my eyes are used to semi-darkness and the impression becomes intense.
